Indeterminate.  80 days from transplant.  Italian Heirloom variety.  Particularly popular in the Piedmont Region, this is the heart of the tomato sauce industry in Italy.  Costoluto means “ribbed” in Italian, which helps describe this variety.  Fruits are a deep red color and weigh an average of about 8 ounces.  Very heavy producer.  Thick-walled, with few seeds, that makes it perfect for sauces and cooking.  Can also be eaten fresh.  Taste is tart, but flavorful.
